Catalina update and pro tools crash
Hi guys
Updated to Catalina and latest PT version ...and now my sessions crash when trying to open. I can make a new session, and it seems it is my waves plugins that cause the crash (at least that is my initial finding) I have a mixed bag of 9,10 and 11 plugins from Waves ...so does this mean that I have to do the bitter WUP to 11 for them all?

Going from Mohave to Catalina on a wonderful mac like that, I would strongly advice a clean install. Use Disk Utilities to create a new APFS partition, and install latest Catalina. Then PT. Test. Then Essential plugins. ...and so on. This is the best, if not the only, way to ensure a safe and stable PT setup. It will of course take some time, but IMO it's very much worth it. I don't think you'll regret it. And do incremental backups as you progress, so you don't have to start over if something goes wrong. I don't know about the waves versions.

Yeah ...I had to bite the bullet and update my WUP
.....oh well...works fine now
