Angry The DUC Offline ?...Address not Found

Been experiencing intermittent offline problem in the last 10 days. The latest is twice today. It doesnt last long, just cannot connect sometimes.
I see DidiTechSupt posted something recently...is it server problems?

I thought that Avid might be refreshing the site or something, as my browser indicated a Certificate problem.. I checked the WHois site and i see the Certificate was just renewed on October 20th. Actually it all started around this time .
Oddly, i just hit the submit this post button and i got the "Address not Found" pop up

Never happened to me. And I am addicted...
May be something local where you live?

I've been getting that, too as of late... but way more frequently. Happens several times a day for me.

Same from down here... I couldn't get on at least five times yesterday throughout the day... Everywhere else worked a treat...

For Avid, when it rains it pours I guess..

We are looking into this. It seems that through certain providers primary and secondary DNS's the avid.com domain is at times difficult to reach. We are not yet sure as to what the reason for this is. There is no conspiracy theory behind it. You will find that whilst the domain may not be accessible through your provider, it may very well be accessible by your neighbors provider. We've recently seen reports of this worldwide.

So you're saying that my provider is at fault because I cannot reach the avid site ONLY? I can reach everything but there.. so I don't think that is the cause...

I'm not suggesting that there is any conspiracy, I'm simply saying that I think that it may be something else.

Please re-read my post. I am NOT saying it is your provider's fault. I am saying that we are looking into this.
I also said that we have seen reports of this worldwide and that it seems to affect certain providers and not others.

Thanks for the info DTS. It took me 5 attempts to posts this..very odd.
I have never known a period of technology going haywire. Over this weekend in the UK a major Bank card failed..even at Supermarket cash-points and tills. Then my particular Bank went offline. Also all over this weekend my DAB radio keeps losing transmission every 5 mins (on all stations)

Has there been overactive Sunspots lately
