PT LE 8 Mbox 3 Pro sample rate help.

hey,

I was wondering if you could help me out, with a little road block.

My sample rate is stuck at 480000, In Pro Tools I go to the set up and it says 48 but I cannot change it in pro tools, then I go into the mbox control pannel where I can change the sample rate, but as soon as I reopen pro tools it reverts back to 48. I noticed a message in the controll pannel saying that the sample rate cannot be changed due to audio streaming, I thourght this may be because I am running some VI's in my current session so I tried seting up a blank session, with nothing on. but it still does the same thing.

any thourghts?

You can't change the sample rate. You have to make a new session at your desired sample rate, then import your tracks from the original session and use src to convert those audio regions to your new sample rate.

IOW, you choose sample rate when you create a new session.
