Question about selling my Pro Tools 9

I purchased the digital download version of PT9 for $600.00 a few months ago. I've not been able to get it stable enough to work in a professional manner on my pc,but on my mac it's been fine,and I'm def not buying a new cpu to run it on pc.So I'm gonna cut my losses and try n recoup some funds back.

What steps do I need to take in order to sell PT9 digital to a new customer?

When I sold one of my PT9 software licenses last year, all I remember doing was (1)paying a transfer fee to move the asset into their iLok account, (2)giving them a blank iLok key since they didn't already own one, and (3)giving them replacement installation discs (I too had bought the download version from the Avid store and there was no way for them to get the installers).

The new buyer was happy and I was pleasantly surprised at how headache-free the transfer was. Not sure if anything has changed since then.

I'm trying to sell my PT9 as well. What site/forum did you use to sell it on and can you tell me about the process involved (ie) transfer of funds, etc..?

Sold it on eBay. After I received payment (PayPal) I initiated the license transfer from within my iLok account (make sure you get the buyer's iLok User ID; I requested that they triple-check their iLok User ID before including it with their payment) then boxed up and mailed a blank iLok key and discs to them. Easy as pie.

Sorry...Emspace. What is a fair price to ask for PT9, I-lok, license and M-audio interface?

Wow, just tried listing PT 9/I-lok/Mbox on Ebay and they suspended my account saying my items were too "high risk" for them to sell. What the hell?!! Any suggestions?

Are you by chance a new eBay seller with little to no feedback? I think that's one of the possible reasons why they might do that.

You could also try selling right here in the Buy & Sell forum.

I've safely done business over at the KVR Market Place, though Pro Tools doesn't seem to generate much interest there.

The selling rate for the software alone seems to be in the $300 to $400 dollar range (I sold mine for $300 earlier this year, one recently sold for a little over $400).
