Project mix problem
I'm running a Project Mix with Pro Tools M-Powered 7.3.1 on a Intel IMac, my i/o's are working but i cant get any of the hardware eg. Faders, locate, zoom etc. working. Pro Tools is seeing my Project Mix in Hardware Setup. I don't think it's a hardware problem because the Project Mix works fine when i plug it back into my PC using Logic Platinum...
It's got me stumped... Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

Re: Project mix problem
First off make sure the Project Mix I/O is in Pro Tools mode. (Aux1 when powering it on, it will retain this setting). If it is in PT Mode, go into Hardware Setup -> Peripherals -> Midi Controllers, under type select HUI, for both "receive from" and "send to" select ProjectMix I/O Control. This should solve the issue.

Re: Project mix problem
Thanks Brad but i have already tried that and still no luck?. Earlier today i downloaded the firmware for 10.4.8 from the m-audio site, as before i had d/loaded 10.4.6-Intel thinking that was the latest version for the Intel Macs but my supplier recommended i get 10.4.8 as that is the version i am using. So i installed the new drivers, shut down, re-booted and still no luck!
There must be something i am missing?

Re: Project mix problem
Does the ProjectMix show-up in the MIDI (AMS) panel? If not then that would be a problem, go through the procedure in the PT "getting started" guide to configure the ProjectMix as a MIDI device. Once you have done that and it shows up in the list of midi devices within selectable list of devices you can configure HUI, which you must do order for it to work properly.

Re: Project mix problem
Yeah it shows up under the Audio devices tab but not under the midi devices tab. If i go to configure device all it does is pop up with the project mix interface? Also this might sound lame but i cant find the getting started guide, only the reference guide and menus guide?
