Midi & Score Editor
I'm using Pro Tools LE8, with Snow Leopard. I'm sorry for being somewhat vague, but for reasons I'm not sure of, when viewing the edit screen, sometimes the bottom quarter of my screen displays the ”Midi Editor.” This of course obscures some of the tracks that I want to see. I've done some research and know how to bring up the Midi Editor, but for the life of me, I cannot find out how to close it. I'm sure the answer is right in front of me, but I'm just not seeing it. So the question is:
How do you close the “Midi Editor” and return to getting a full screen of my tracks when viewing the “edit screen?” Sorry to be so basic, but if you can help, I would really appreciate it. Many thanks, Alan |

Re: Midi & Score Editor
Double click the top panel bar of a docked editor.

Re: Midi & Score Editor
Thank you "filosofem." Unfortunately that did not work, probably because of my poor explanation. I have in the meantime figured out how to do it. For the sake of possibly helping someone else, here's the solution.
Go to the "View Tab" at the top of the screen. Select "Other Displays" from the pull down menu. Uncheck "MIDI Editor. alan |
