How to get a 8.03 update on 2011 ? (Powermac processor)

Hello Everybody
My name's Matthieu writting from Paris France, so sorry for my rusty english !
I'm actually running a pro tools HD 7.4 on a powermac G5 (mac osx Tiger 10.4.11 ... it's been a long time !)
I would like to upgrade my pro tools for a HD 8.03 or 8.04 version (power mac compatible).
I think Avid no long sell 8.03 version, but someone tell me I could buy a HD 9 upgrade & recieve a 8.03 ilok authorisation.
Is that true ? How should I proceed ?

I'll download the 8.01 updater file & buy a PT HD9 licence from Avid. The custumers support give me a PT HD 8 licence.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....... The newest Pro Tools HD version that will run on a Power Mac G5 is 8.0.1cs2. PT HD9 will NOT run on a PPC..... it requires an Intel Mac!!!!! Please see list of Macs approved for PT9 here:

They are only "upgrading" to 9 so they can use 8 on the PPC machine since that license works backwards. Reread the post.
