imac 21.5 or mac mini for MP9?ADVICE!

In terms of processing power, they are almost identical. You will need to upgrade the ram to 4 gb right away on the Mini.

With the Mini, you also need to get a keyboard, mouse, and monitor, as it doesn't come with any of those. If you already have them, that's fine. But if you have to buy them, then that brings you a lot closer to the price of the Imac.

The Imac also can be expanded to 16 gb of ram later on, whereas the Mini caps out at 8.
