midi input monitor

Anybody know a plugin or any good way to monitor what's coming from the midi whitout having to put a midi track in record and check the midi event list after. Someting like in Digital Performer where it tell's you what's coming through midi in real time,(number of the controller, pitch bend, sys-ex).
