Radar To PT. Help Please!
I cut a project on Radar and I want to edit on PT. I have Digi001 PC. Can the files be copied to CD and then loaded in PT? I need the simplest way possible. Thanks for your help.

Re: Radar To PT. Help Please!
If the Radar has the ability to save to .wav or .aiff, and has the ability to burn a CD, yes you can bring those files into a PT session.
Doesn't the Radar have removable storage? Do you know if the HD system is compatible with Mac/ or PC ie: NTFS, HFS, Fat? If so you can install that drive in your computer with the proper accessories. Sorry I could not provide more specific info but I am not familiar with the Radar System. BTW, you can always do an Analog/Digital transfer but that is only 18 tracks at once. (8 analog, 8 ADAT LP, 2 SPDIF) You will have to make another pass to get the rest.

Re: Radar To PT. Help Please!
If the Radar is running version 3.10 or later you can export as .wav files to the DVD-RAM drive or to the internal drive (and then ftp to the PC) These files will have timestamps and can be spotted in PT. This works perfectly and I do it all the time. Go to http://www.recordingtheworld.com for more.
