Help Help Help!!! is my pci card burned?
yes, just like that from one day to the other.
I came to my studio in the morning, opened my computer and saw a major crush happening. did some diagnostics, pulled out some pci cards and after a short elimination it was clear that my 001 system is the cause. my 001 can not even start a digitest, pt or any other software won't launch and the worst thing is that the red phantom light doe's not switch on. so, i went to a twin computer and first replaced my interface and all was fine. then i did the same with the cable and all was fine. when i inserted my pci card into the twin computer the exact same thing happened. no red light, no function at all, 6002's and a very hot pci card. is it burned? finished? anyone heard about such thing here? just like that? i didn't touch it and it was working fine the day before... ANY TIPS HERE? thanks cuba
