Superior Drummer crashing on multi out?

This is driving me crazy. I have superior drummer 2.21, and when trying to set the multi outs to record audio PT crashes. Every dang time. Here is the set up.
I select multi out and it's set to 1/2 to 13/14 stereo. Since I can't use 1/2 cause that's my master out, I change it to 15/16 and PT crashes. I even tried setting the kick and snare to mono on 3 and 4 respectively. And it still crashes. Every single time. Any thoughts.

I remember reading about PT crashing if you didn't use outputs 1/2 with Superior, but I can't find it again.

Why can't you use 1/2? This has nothing to do with your master outs, so I'm curious as to why you say this?

I can't figure this one out either. When I select multi out, and then set up my audio tracks, I don't have the 1/2 option. Only 3/4 and on. I don't know why I can't use 1 and 2. (maybe it's a setting in the profire control panel?)

From Toontrack's support forum:

"There is a known bug in S2.2.1 which will cause crashes if nothing is assigned to Output 1/2 in a project that is not 44.1kHz. The workaround is simple: just make sure that some sort of signal is going through Output 1/2."

I tried it and it worked perfectly. I changed an unused channel to 1/2, and then it worked perfectly.
