undo History List ... other programs

hey all,

i just noticed that the undo history in pro tools is empty when restarting the program ... do other programs do this or does the undo history remain ...

many applications dump the undo buffer once you do a save or save-as. The fact that PT does not dump the undo buffer at save is a good thing. I can not think of any apps that save the undo buffer with the file or app after a quit.

PT is known to simply dump history on numerous occasions.

Here is one...

Make about 10 edits and the undo his will show 10 undoes.
Now hit Shift+Command+B to select unused regions. Deselect all of them and like Steve Jobs would say " BOOOOOOM " the whole undo history is GONE.

been reporting this since God knows when but 8.0.3 managed to come out without that fix.
