Default Mbox3 Pro Monitoring speakers PC speakers

Hi all. just recently got an Mbox3 pro. when I turn it on the monitoring speakers work fine but the PC speakers won't work anymore. this was never a problem when I had the DIGI002 , they would both work separately. anyone know anything about this ? is there anything I can setup ? much appreciate your input. thanks so much. Ed

Are you running a Mac or a PC?
If its a PC, then you should open Sound Properties and set Windows to use the on-board sound card as the "default playback" device. That leaves the Mbox for Pro Tools to have control over. What often happens whenever you install an interface, as soon as Windows sees the driver, it grabs that device(Windows thinks it knows what you want, even when it doesn't....)
