Valhalla Room is excellent and Shimmer does some really cool stuff. While not a reverb Valhalla's FreqEcho is a free download and alot of fun. Reverberate would give you another impulse response option and is highly tweakable. All of these are easy on the pocketbook as well.

I haven't found anything better than the Lexicon PCM bundle,
http://www.lexiconpro.com/product.php?id=163 combined with Altiverb 6, http://www.audioease.com/Pages/Altiv...iverbMain.html

Look around and you can find package deals for good prices.

Lexicon is a good one, and I am quite happy with the IK Classik Reverbs too.

+1 for IK CSR.

I picked it up cheap on the MF Stupid Deal of the Day and have been really surprised with it.

The Lexicon PCM Bundle has got a huge selection of reverbs with a good user interface. They are all great quality and the presets are well usable without much or even any tweaking. Definitely worth checking out the demo from the link danander provided.

Caveat: It ain't cheap!

Default Re: Good Reverb Plugins to purchase?

- Lexicon PCM Reverb (native only)
- TC VSS3 (TDM only)
- Eventide Reverb (TDM only)
- Sonnox Reverb (TDM+native)
- Avid ReVibe (TDM Accel only)

I have all of those since they're all different and no reverb is a one-size-fits-all tool. If I want a natural warm space, I try Lexicon first. Something colder? TC. Something exciting? Eventide. Want to spend some time tweaking until suddenly everything sounds nice? Sonnox. Surround? Avid.

I also have the EasyVerb by PSP Audioware which is an inexpensive, simple and native-only reverb plugin that looks like crap. BUT it has wonderful Arena algorithm that I like very much and do not feel much need to tweak (not that it could be tweaked much but anyway).
