How Do I Switch from monitors to headphones??

I use studio monitors connected through s/pdif with my 002 rack. I'm trying to have a pair of headphones connected as well so I can switch between the 2 while recording..... Can anyone help me????

You have a headphone out on your 002. That should have no effect running SP/dif.... Confused on what your issue is dude.

the headphone jack doesn't play any audio out when I have the monitor hooked to the s/pdif. I know the headphones are set to analog 1 and 2...

is there a way to set each track to have more than one main out??

Not true. I am listening right now to phones on my 002 input and shooting out s/pdif to my Central Station and hearing audio thru that too.

Recheck your hookups, mutes, etc...

Hey I'm having the same problem. I'm using spdif for my mains but can only hear my phones if the main out is Analog 1/2. The manual also states that phones uses the Analog 1/2. The way I've been doing it is I set my mains to spdif and when I need to record with phones I switch my spdif with Analog 1/2 in the Setups->I/O Setups temporarily. If there's an easier way I'd really love to hear it Doc!

You want to double the output of all your audio tracks to be both S/PDIF and Analog 1-2. Now that I'm not in front of Pro Tools I feel unsure of the keystrokes... I think it's start+click the output box and drag to the desired second output. Use this in conjunction with alt to apply to all tracks, or alt+shift to apply to all selected tracks.

What I'm calling the start key is the one that looks like the windows logo. Right-clicking seems to work a lot the same as start-clicking, so that might be worth a try too. I don't feel nearly so smart when it isn't in front of me to be sure!
