Default Error -1133

Hi everyone, I'm new here... I tried to search for this error but I got a huge batch of results none of which looked like what I need. I get this error when I try to start up my Pro Tools LE Mbox version 6.4. It says Design Hardware in use by another application. (-1133). Any help? I don't have any other applications running, except Firefox. I do also use Logic Pro 7.2 but if its not up shouldn't it leave the "design hardware" alone?

Thanks!

You may be using a Mac/OS version that's incompatible with that version of Pro Tools. However, more information is needed before meaningful advice can be given. Specifically, a detailed spec for your Mac (model, OS, RAM etc). Check out this thread for guidance,

Thanks for the reply - here's the info. you mentioned - sorry, I should have put that in there...

I have a MacBook Pro, running OS X 10.4.11, 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo, 1 GB M667 MHz RAM, and trying to run Pro Tools LE 6.4.

Do you see an issue with that combo?? I think the problem is more with another program as I was able to run this pro tools setup on this computer before.

Thanks again for your response, hopefully you have an idea how to help.

- E

PT 7.1.1 to be precise. See the 'red' compatibility link above.
