Problems installing 5.3.1 TDM.

I am having a problem installing 5.3.1 TDM software on my PC. Previously I had 5.3.1 LE on my computer, but I uninstalled all that before trying to install 5.3.1 TDM. Whenever I try to install the new software I get a message "You have already installed 5.3.1 LE or 5.3.1 TDM on this computer please modify in Add/Remove programs." Please help me out if you can.

It would appear that you just went in and trashed the program without removing the elements that reside in the system. That is why there is a tool in you OS to remove applications. You might try installing the application after removing everything and restarting the computer

Did you buy some new hardware?
Why are you installing TDM? if you only have a 001
then you cant install TDM.

I believe I correctly uninstalled everything. First I ran the uninstall for PT LE then I removed the hardware. Next, I installed a D24 card and DSP Farm and an 888/24. Booted up the computer again which is running XP Home, waited for my comp to see the d24 and dsp farm, then tried to install the new TDM 5.3.1 software. Thats when I got the error message.

I believe you need to install the drivers for the cards first. I failed to do so myself the first time, and got nowhere. Then reboot and install PT software.
