[QUOTE=Abelmusic;2411299]I run scarlett for sound hardware...I do not run the audio in my mac book pro./QUOTE]

Yes, I understand. But for troubleshooting purposes, change the playback engine to the internal sound card and see if you have the same errors, or if it only happens with the Scarlett.

Default Re: CPU Usage over-Load-tried everything-HELP~!

I found the problem...

When I opened a new session, when designating the destination folders, I was asked if I wanted to "copy" the files.

Not knowing what to do, I clicked "yes". This caused a set of session folders to be formed in my Mac Book Pro....and it also opened the folders in my external hard drive.

When I ran/recorded/used my session, I believe the system was attached to both the mac book folders and external drive folders so I was pulling from two sources.

When I deleted the session files in my mac book.....leaving only folders for the session to be found in the glyph drive........the CPU usage Error discontinued.

It had something to do with a session having destination folders on two drives at once.

It seems the problem is solved.

Time will tell!

Thank you soooo much for you assistance and patience and effort to assist me in this matter~!

If you do not know what to do, why don't you read the manual?

Man, if I had a dime for every time I wanted to ask that...
