I can confirm this. ML to Lion is just as good a speed jump than SL was compared to Leopard. Everything feels nicer now, including PT.

Everything except one thing -- Safari lost the backspace shortcut, so here's a tip for all of you who want to get that back shortcut back

Issue the following command using Terminal application:

defaults write com.apple.Safari com.apple.Safari.ContentPageGroupIdentifier.WebKit 2BackspaceKeyNavigationEnabled -bool YES

Yes, this is one command starting with defaults and ending with YES. Use copy/paste because all spaces and big letters count. Revert back to Apple's stupid default by replacing YES with NO

Change will take effect as soon as you quit Safari and re-open

EDIT:
For some reason copy/paste adds an extra space just before "2" which needs to be removed. I have no idea why it happens because in this text box there is no extra space. So remove the space before "2" and it works.

Regarding performance with ML.

ANybody with spare time could you let us know how a dverb or altiverb test goes cpu wise versus lion.

Just load like 50 dverbs or 20 altiverbs on a lion and mountain session and please send us the cpu usage a/b + your machine configuration. THX

Hi there, just for the record and other users with similar equipment... my system is an iMac 3,o6GHz, 12GB Ram, MacOS 10.8 Mountain Lion, Digi003R, PT10.2, Waves v9, MCDSP ProjectBundle, Duende Native, Softube StudioBundle, Relab LX480Lite, all IK Multimedia instruments and plugs (Amplitube 3.8, Sampletank 2XL, T-Racks3 Deluxe etc.) and it is all working with Mountain Lion flawlessly! Each plug and any VIs as well as PT itself. The only 2 issues I have experienced is first a problem with the SSL Codemeter/License system. I have to manually activate the Codemeter stick everytime before I go to start the DAW; otherwise it will tell me that there is no license for the plug (I will have to tell SSL about it). 2nd is that the Avid Coredriver has stopped working with 3rd party apps again, but you can find it on Avid´s site that they know about it and are working to solve it again. So, most of the plugs and PT10.2 with Digi003R are def working with Mountain Lion.
Good luck to everyone, enjoy, cheers.

Put your old Core2Duos to rest. They have no use for this iOS crap, anyway. Mine is going to keep running 10.6.8 until it doesn't turn on anymore.

Wait... you are going to continue using what works fine and thus continue to work since you were able to do what you did last week, again next week and so on?
And end up with no issues or complaints.
This is nonsesne!
Why would anyone want to do that?
Is this how business is done?
