Not receiving much signal from audio on faders
Im not receiving much signal on my faders from anything that goes in the DI's.
for vocals my signal goes only up to about -12db and for any of my synths it only goes up to -25db. for vocals im going U87>avalon 737> apogee ensemble. for synths im going Synth>Art MPA pro II> apogee ensemble. No matter how hard I boost the gain or output on either pre amp the signal still doesnt exceed those Decibels. It used to work fine when i was using pro tools 9 but im not sure why it does this with 10. I used to be clipping if my gains were too high. I dont have any limiters or plugins on my tracks either. (NOTE: Vitual instruments show accurate/strong signals on faders) If anybody knows a solution to this i would appreciate the help. thanks |
