i assume for most people that they would not need this as most people have little interest in running an hd system on the ancient mac os !!

please if u have this disc.. talk to me!

Glad to hear you had luck.

Now is there a reason to run OS9 on your friend's system?

HD cards and G4 would work very well on OSX 10.3.4 and PT 6.4.1 so unless there is some another software that requires OS9, maybe you should consider that upgrade as your next step. I remember that 6.4 brought us Automatic Delay Compensation and +12dB faders. And support for Command|8 for what it's worth.

OS 9 was Fun!

I have an older Mirror door, Dual Boot
Panther 10.3.9, Pro tools 6.4.1
OS 9, Pro tools 5.1.3

it runs perfectly, a great older system!
I have tons of old plug ins for OS9.
Not to mention, some cool old games in OS 9
