Default Has anyone been successful pro tools 11.3?

Has anyone been successful importing audio files in pro tools 11.3 and HD?
I've tried so many times, but no hope. I don't know if it's really issue of pro tools 11 or just mine. Pro tools 10.x works just fine when I import audio files.

Yes. 11.3 has been very solid for me.

What's your setup?

What happens when you try to import files? Any error message?

I love 11.3 on my Windows 7 PC. I did notice just yesterday that if I drag and drop audio file in PT 10 (on Mac, anyway) or my 11.3, that it makes the audio tracks Elastic Time, I suppose to line them up with the session tempo, whether or not I want to do that. I did not notice THAT before. Is that what Longname is talking about? If I import normally, no problems.

Are you trying to import files from an NTFS formatted drive directly into a PT session on a Mac by any chance? That has been known to cause issues. Pretty much you'd have to move the files from the NTFS drive to a Mac formatted drive and import from there.

We need info on your system and what kind of files (wav along with bit rate and sample depth, mp3, etc.) you're trying to import and into what the PT session you're working with is set at. That would help a lot.

I've yet to have any issues importing files into PT11.3.0 vanilla.

I just jumped to 11.3 this week and was excited but no more.
Everytime I start editing midi notes in PT 11.3 it crashes.
I've done the trash prefs and all but still no go for me.

I'm running a :
Mac Pro, OS X 10.8.5
HDX (1)
Artist Control, Artist Mix

I do a lot of MIDI work and have not had these issues in PT 11.3.0. What vi's are you using? It may not be PT but a specific vi instead.

Preference setting unless there is a bug.

Kontakt 5.4.2 - (no instruments loaded)
Trillian - Upright bass
BFD3 - Brush kit
Click II
pretty simple track
These plugs are the latest updates.
I've been working on this project since Monday and it constantly crashes.

Any thoughts would be great.

I'd try starting from scratch and adding VIs one at a time. Also, check all your 3rd party plug-ins by removing them and adding them back in one at a time.

Just because the VIs are the latest version, they may not have been upgraded to work with PT11.

Have you loaded the latest Avid interface drivers?
