LUFS meter and frequency coded waveforms
It's been a while since AVID presented a new feature that didn't already long time exist in other DAWs.
So first, how about giving PT users a usable meter for every channel or at least for the master fader, integrated or as a plugin. R128, LUFS or whatever standards is used. And how about waveforms that shows frequency content. It improves orientation in projects hugely by color-coding the sonic characteristics and pitch in the waveform view and makes it a breeze to spot unwanted frequencies like "ESS" or PLOSIVES. Thats it for now Santa. |
