Hidden folders multiplying in Workspace.

In my Workspace browser, if I expand the system drive, hidden folders like var and etc are showing up. At first look, there are two entries for each, but every time I restart PT another two instances of each are added when I expand the view of the system drive. Right now I'm up to ten instances of each hidden folder. Repaired permissions - still the same. Deleting databases/preferences or clean uninstall-reinstall, resets the the view back to two, but then they continue to replicate with each time PT is closed and reopened. Not a show stopper, but very odd behavior. Anyone else?

PT8cs1 with 003R on dual 2.3 PPC, 10.5.6, 6 gig memory, external FW sample/VI drive on own buss and separate session drive on internal SATA.

Yes, me too!

Loads of VAR, TMP, ETC files show up in workspace but not in mac finder.

This all started with PT8 and cs2 didnt fix it.

But yeah, as you say, not a show stopper, just annoying.

Digi Tech Support responded to my support request:

We were able to reproduce this behavior and have logged it with our developers. I do not have any information on how or when it will be reolved but things like this are typically resolved in CS releases.

I also have a ton of these var, etc, net & tmp folders when I click on mac HD. At least I know its not just me.
