My message to Avid email support at the beginning of November, still with no resolution:

I purchased an academic version of Pro Tools in December of 2012 When PT 12 came out, Avid had to manually add it to my account as the system was not applying the licensing correctly. PT 12.2 and now 12.3 still are not appearing in my account, despite my right to have those upgrades at no charge.

I request access to the software versions I was promised, and for the issue to be rectified so that future updates through 12/2016 are applied automatically as they should have in the first place.

Would one of you awesome employees please help since email support seems to be lacking?

Hello Avid,

I bought the Pro Tools 11 Student/EDU version in February of this year and while my friend, who bought the exact same product as me got the option to upgrade to Pro Tools 12 for free, I've never received the option to do that.

My current PT 11 Student/EDU license is listed in My Products and Subscriptions as "Pro Tools Software Upgrade with Annual Upgrade and Support Plan (12 Months), with Time Period from Feb 25, 2015 - to - Feb 24, 2016.

I would really appreciate if anyone can explain this to me.

I have the academic student version of protools. I don't have any products listed in the products not yet downloaded area. I have protools 12.2 academic listed in the my products and subscriptions, but no license listed. I have tried to install but ilok keeps saying I don't have a license. Hi Jeffro, also having the same problem as those in this thread - just went to my account to grab PT12 but nothing there. PT11 upgrade came through fine but nothing for PT12 despite there being another year and a half left on the deal from when I bought it.

I also bought Pro Tool 10/11 Academic right around the switch. I thought I was supposed to get 4 years also. However it is not in my list of downloads (11.3)

Is there a way that can be looked into?
