Default Constant DAE-9073 (OSX/PT6.4.1 upgrade from OS9.x/5.x)

I decided to install OSX 10.3.9/Quicktime 6.5.2/PT 6.4.1 and have been getting continued dae 9073 errors. I trashed all of the digi preferences, increased h/w buffer, allocated more memory...etc..., but the error still keeps happening.

I didn't have any issues prior with the exact same hardware setup I have with the old OS9.x and PT5.x that I had on this computer.

Are there things I need to do differently with the new OSX? I don't have anything else running on the system other than the factory PT install and software that came with the new OS.

My external drives are 10,000rpm and are connected with an Adaptec u320 card. All drives have been running fine.

To test, I created a new session, imported one stereo track and after duplicating it 8 times, the dae error came up. 4 stereo tracks running at the same time weren't a problem. All audio data is coming from same/one hard drive.

Thank you,
Nate Dawson

Maybe someone has the same OS and PT system that could give me some configuration tips here.

Thank you,
Nate

do you have the OSX drivers for that SCSI card? did you install them as "root" user?

Didn't know I needed to upgrade those. I'll look for the upgrade at Adaptec.

Thanks,Nate
