Expansion Pack - SystemID?

I'm at work, and my Eleven Rack is at home.

I just bought and downloaded the Expansion Pack.
When I did so, I received a serial number and a system ID.

The machine I downloaded it from is NOT the machine I will running it on at home.

Will this cause me a problem? Or will I still be able to run it the one time at home?

you will be fine. i believe the System ID just locks the Firmwear updater to the PC that it is "installed" on, its not generated by an algorithm based on the componits of the PC you "bought" the ERXP on.

The Firmware Updater portion of the installer is tied to THE CPU YOU INSTALL THE FIRMWARE FROM (hence the 'System ID').

So you will have no problems. Make a copy of it from the machine you downloaded from, then run that copy on your Pro Tools system.

Note: You need to be online to complete the FW installation.

I said is was NOT tied to the PC you "bought/purchased" the download with, and it is tied to the PC you installed on.
