Default Can I use PCI-X HD Accel Core card as HD Accel card?

There was never a PCIx accel core card ever made
And yes you can install more than 1 core card in a system

FYI the only accel core card is PCIe

Yes, the PCI core card will then act like a Process card though. PCI Core cards are none Accel.

Does it matter whether the core cards are adjacant to each other? I only ask if one were to need to remove a core card for another job, it would be easier if it were Core - Process - Core rather than Core - Core - Process.

No, the order shouldn't have any effect.
