Default how many i/o?

So I read that CPTK will increase PT9 to have 32 i/o
But what does it have as standard?
Or can you just put as many interfaces together as you want?

I know HD native has 64i/o and HD TDM has however many you have cards.

32 is standard both with and without Complete toolkit. Complete toolkit doesn't add anything in that area.

See this comparison chart of features:

As for combining more than one interface, I'm not sure if anyone has the answers yet on how that works. It sounds like that's a feature built in to the interface, and not all interfaces have that.

this is true, and "aggregate devices" are only supported on the Mac, and only certain devices support it - none of LE hardware line does.

It appears that the trick to getting 32 working inputs is to use an interface that handles all 32 in one box. The M-Audio Lightbridge should work perfectly for this. Patch in up to 4 lightpipe preamps and go
