Default 11R with Protools HD 8

I decided to connect my 11R digitally to my 192 i/o. I have it connected via SPDIF and can get the audio in. At first all seemed ok, but now I am getting statics, slight pop/click with mean I am probably out of sync.

In 11R settings, I cannot tell it to sync to the 192, there are no options to change it. I have the 192 sync'd internally to PTHD8.

I disconnected my LYNX Aurora to see if that was an issue, same results.

I have the 11r also hooked up via USB, but that is only so I can control the 11R from within Protools. All works great there.

Here are all the connections to and from the 11R:

Amp 1 and 2 out to a Marshall Poweramp, then to 2 2x12 cabs.
USB to MacPro, same on my HD cards are installed to.
SPDIF to and from a 192 i/o, that is then connected to my HD Core Card.
Main Outs to Control Center for auditioning through various studio monitors.

Everything sounds as it should through all sources but through the 192 into PTHD 8. What am I missing?

It will just be a clock sync problem.

If the Eleven Rack is connected to USB you must set its clock rate/source via the Eleven Rack GUI. If you want to use the Eleven Rack front panel clock menu you need to disconnect the USB cable.

Edit: Oops I meant the Eleven Rack System Preferences Prefpane, not the Eleven Rack GUI in Pro Tools. That is the only way to control those settings once connected on USB. But you could also have just set the 192 to clock off the S/PDIF digital input the Eleven Rack is driving.
