PTHD 8 and SSL Delta Link / Alpha Link. Compatible?

Hi, just wondering if anyones using this setup.
Were looking to buy another HD2 system, but use the SSL converters.

I was wondering about whether they work in this combination and also if digidesign could render this SSL > PTHD combo inoperable with a software update?

The SSL is in competition with the 192's etc. after all

Yes, working here. I'm using both the Alpha SX and 192 together. Whether or not Digi could render the SSL inoperable is anyone's guess, but I don't see this occurring, unless there's a dramatic change in the software. Either way, I'm sure Digi and SSL will do everything in their interest to keep it all compatible.
