Default Question about Avid's new policy

Hi.

As Avid is changing policy on prices, I want to be sure that I have got it right.

I have the PT2019.5 running and I just paid $100 for 1 year on March 31th. Do I have to pay this summer again or in one year 3/2020?

Just to be sure!

Thank You for your answer!!

No you don't HAVE to, because your original purchase is valid for what you purchased it. On the other hand you may WANT to renew your support plan further, because this month you still get it for old price

If there is, I don't know about it. Maybe you can try buying more and the store should tell you if they won't allow extending a decennial

Unfortunately the next round of incoming funds don't hit me until a day or 2 after the cut off day..... unless you can spare some cash I don't mind my account being the guinea pig hehehe

It has been noted already that there is essentially no limit to how many years you can purchase. There was something about being only three at a time but that you just do multiple purchases of 1-3 or something. Also that they dont show up over three in your account for some weird reason but they are still good.

Pay in Advance ...hmmm ... interesting ... not very appealing, if you ask me .. and if you do not wish to Pay More (199.00) then surrender your perpetual license and we will give you the same price ..

no thank you .. how about you show us something for the Money you are asking for in advance .. !!! nah, i cannot in good consciense give my away for nothing in return ..

you buy a Car with Support for broken items and oil changes, then a few months later, the Dealer says i know you already pay for this in your payment but we aregoing to have to DOUBLE that payment as of a few days from now ... sorry, BUT if you would like to rent the Car from us (never own it) we will wavie the Pricing Increase ... and btw: if you miss a payment the car will STOP Working !!

just not seeing anything for the Consumer here my friends ... more like we cannot manage our own money, can you give us some more sop we can see if we can get better at it !!

hmmmm ... yeah, interesting ..

Yup it sure will.... you just no longer entitled to get updates and support from Avid.... you can carry on creating...

BTW, you don’t have a perpetual plan you have a perpetual license
