Default DAE Error -7053 after Waves7 Installation - help !

Hi there,

I just got some strange error (-7053) after updating to Waves7 Diamond Bundle.
Here´s my configuration :

I have two partitions on my boot drive

1. OSX 10.4.11 (Tiger) with PT 7.4 / Waves 6.0 Diamond
2. OSX 10.5.6 (Leopard) with PT 8.0.3 / Waves 7.0 Diamond

What I did is update the Waves Ilok authoriation and installed the V7 bundle only on the Leopard partition. Of course I had to drop the V6 authorisations - but I read at the Waves site that both versions (V6+7) can run on one computer.
But how if you have to drop the V6 licenses ?

Now I get this (V6) authorisation questions and DAE -7053 error when booting on Tiger and PT7.4

Did I miss something ?

Any help very much appreciated - thanks !

anyone got an idea ?

I just got an answer from WAVES support, that I need to install V7 on the Tiger Partition and make sure I delete the Waveshell_DAE V6 in the plug ins folder.
But in their tech specs V7 is not compatible with PT 7.4 - thats why i hesitate of installing V7 on the Tiger partition ?

Ok, problem solved...or better said "updated partially".
Here´s what I did (might be of interest for others running into that problem) :

1. Backup the old 10.4. partition with Carbon Copy Cloner onto a FW drive.
2. Install a clean Leopard 10.5.6 onto that partition
3. Install PT 7.4.2 (which works with Waves7 !)
4. Install Waves7
5. Reconfigure some system preferences - Start ProTools and GOOD !

Now I can easely jump from PT7.4.2 to PT8 and vice versa, and its fun.
Everything seems to run smoothly...im happy again
