Waves V11 - Left Field Update

Went to check this out on the Waves site. Logged in to my account no problem and went to see what it would cost to WUP plugins that are out of WUP and the site seems to have crashed. I get a page with this verbiage on it:

If you're going to WUP then you should find it cheaper via a third party vendor such as this one

Update to my previous post:
Waves site still mucked up with the same error message. Two different computers and two different browsers and still getting the same message. With the site down this bad I can't even send them a message except via Twitter that there's a problem.

Waves support are pretty good from what I recall. I think I've only used them once in 20 years but they sorted it out when I needed.

just checked WUP'ing my Waves plugs and it comes in at US$360 that's AUS$524.41 then add 10% GST we're looking close to AUS$600.... I don't think I'll be re-WUP'ing

I think I'll run this last update and then just do the same as Southside and use them for as long as they work.

I also note they say their V11 plugs are not supported with their very own StudioRack plug.... although I do have it I think I've only used it a one or two tracks, be buggered if I remember which one lol

Waves support may be good but when you can't even get to the site because of the error message I posted earlier - what good does that support do?

yup that would make it a tad difficult to fill out a support ticket.

Hmmm could be a job in this.... a DAW and Plug broker, a company go between who for a fee manages all your DAW and Plug issues
