PT 2018 all user shortcuts erased on install

I just installed PT 2018 and all my eucon programmed keys have gone back to default.
Is there any way to get these back?
Where are they even installed, assuming I could find a backup version?

Ok, so if I open 12.8.3, which I renamed before installing PT2018, all my soft keys are back.
So they are clearly stored somewhere.

Does anyone know where the files that relate to user soft keys are?
I tried Library/application support/ Eucon etc, but those XML files seem to have dates way earlier than when I changed the soft keys.

Well I seem to be talking to myself here but in case this happens to someone else when they install 2018 v1.

I think I've figured it out.

Eucon names an XML file the same name as the version of PT so there are XML's for PT 10 11 12 and now a new one for 2018 is made when you first save a softkey or layout.
The version name shows up in the top left of the control app when pro tools is open.
So the XML's and therefore user defined shortcuts are version name dependant.
Hence there is no XML for 2018 when it first opens and the softkeys revert to default.

Please tell me if I'm wrong, but this seems to be how it works.
