Bug report: Print track NOT in input will play input

I've seen this for a while now, but hard to replicate... Seems random.
I keep my 'print track' at the top of the session in input and in record, so that way I could listen to my mix and 'pop in' to the ref track sometimes to check progress. For a while now, in 2018.7 I noticed that sometimes when I should be hearing the printed track, it keeps playing the 'input' mix. Stopping playback and resuming usually gets it back on track...

Trashing Prefs and Database files is step #1 for any "odd" behavior(and this sounds odd to me)

Yep. I get the same. One of those intermittent things as you say. Trashing prefs makes no difference. Seems to be a certain combination of things that I can’t quite pin down. FWIW I have seen this behaviour on other versions too.

Off-topic, another one that bugs the hell out of me is when you insert a plug-in, or do something random like re-name a few clips, which then causes (for some inexplicable reason) all the MIDI stuff to stop playing, but then come and crashing back in 3 or 4 bars later. Horrible. Well this has got even worse recently as it seems to crash back in completely out of sync. Just terrible to work with. The things we put up with eh.
