m-audio fast track pro no longer works with protools on my macbook pro!

hello all!

recently upgraded my old mac book (3 yrs) to a new macbook pro

I used a m-audio fast track pro to run my protools mpowered 7

I luckily found my protools disc so I have protools back on this comp protools 7

I installed the fast track pro but it says it does not work with intel based macs

my setup is very small I just need to record/capture vocals on a condenser mic

I bring most my work to other stuidios for mixing/mastering

my question is what interface should I get I just need to run a condenser mic

budget is low as i'd rather pay for studio time I just need to be able to record via protools

and what is the least inexpensive way to ugrade to 8 or 9?
