Default Digi 001 on MacOS 10.3.9.?

I still have a Digi 001 rack system running with a G4 DP 500 that we use for small sessions and was wondering if anyone out there has had it working with 10.3.9.? [email protected]

Do Not load up Quicktime 7.0 if you intend to use your 001 w/ ITunes and especially QT. QT 7 causes a conflict w/ Digi's Core Audio Setup.

This combination totally F-d up my computer. It is not supported, and as such i have no one to blame but myself, but this update has TOTALLY ruined my productivity and the stability of my machine. Protools actually works fine, but ANY other app which uses the 001 core audio driver will not open (itunes, quicktime etc...). These apps work fine when PT is using the 001, because then they default to the system's audio in/out, but 10.3.9 has been increadibly unstable on a machine which previously was problem-free for quite a long time. I'm in the process of installing 10.3.8 on one partition, replacing OS9, and i will install Tiger on the other partition. If you're on 10.3.8, i see no reason to upgrade to 9. There are many users who have reported 10.3.9 as being problematic.
Just my experiences, i'm glad it's working fine for some of you guys.
