Artist Transport Jog/Shuttle DOES NOT Seem to WORK on Instrument Track

I've just started using the Artist Transport in PT12, at it seems that the Jog and Shuttle functions DO NOT work when my cursor is focused on an Instrument Track. If I set my cursor to an audio track, the Jog Shuttle DO WORK, no problem just like in Media Composer. Is there something I need to do differently when trying to jog/shuttle on an Instrument Track, or do I just need to move the cursor to an audio track in order to jog/shuttle?
