003r PT11 Massive CPU spikes

Hi There,

I'm just wondering if anybody else has had any issues with the 003R+ and PT11.3.1 with OS 10.10.5

As far as I can tell this is a qualified system.

Running:

Mac Pro 3.1 8 core 2.8ghz 24gig ram
PT 11.3.1
OS X 10.10.5
003Rack+


I use a ton of plugins but opening a session with all plugins disabled tends to give me the same issues.

Is it a conflict with the HD driver I have installed?

This thing is more sluggish than an i7 2012 macbook pro.

I'm wanting to learn Pro Tools, so I've been thinking picking up a clean 003 Factory. This has prompted me to research compatibility with current MacOS versions. In this process I've become aware of a new driver released for the 003 in 2016, so forgive me if this is a stupidly obvious question, but are you running the latest drivers? From what I've read, the CPU spikes were a problem with the old drivers.
