Pro Tools 2018.7 crashes when closing a session

This generic issue has been discussed before on DUC. Most likely suspects are corrupt sessions or bad plugin. What have you changed recently? If there was a serious problem with 2018 I think we'd be hearing lots about it. Always possible that a specific plugin or two have been tripped up by something in a Pro Tools release and not many see it.. so important you troubleshoot for plugins if it's not a corrupt session.

Did you try trashing prefs? This happen on only one session? If so import that into a new session or use your last working backup. Otherwise plugins... see standard troubleshooting steps are under "help us help you" up top of each DUC web page.

Hi there.

I have protools crashing when closing. Also with no plug-ins at all.
I'll try to re-install and let you know.

If you are going to r-install, remove all of your plugins as well. With no plug-ins installed, run PT and see if it exits cleanly. If it does, then add back your plug-ins one by one until you find the one that is causing the hang on exit.

I’ve been using 2018.12, issue seems to have gone away so far....
