Couldn't launch Interlok Driver Setup

On one of my two Win7 PCs (not the Celeron one where ProTools doesn't recognize the Mbox, but on the other one), I was able to install ProTools and it seems to work - at least it plays a wav file, and regions that I established in this session earlier are still there, and clicking on them jumps me to the appropriate place, although I don't know what else might bite me later because:

when I installed it (from the version 8 CD, which is the one that goes with my Mbox) I got the message:

"Couldn't launch Interlok Driver Setup... Error -1"

and then:

"This installer was unable to launch the PACE system files installer"

and then:

"Protools will not function without the PACE System Files"

So what should I do to solve thie problem? How can I make launch the PACE System Files?

Sorry for the zombie thread, but I'm having the same problem with a Hybrid install. Unfortunately, it seems the iLok site is down for the moment. Will check back.
