Help! I Dont know if this problem has occured before?

So im on a power mac g5, 10.5.8 leopard,
I downloaded the audio core driver for digidesign

and i now got the green light turned on my mbox..

but when ever i open pro tools it says "unable to locate mbox".. and i cant get no sound from logic?????
Please help me out!
i mean it doesnt respond in logic ?? but the the mbox is showing green light which means it should be connected

I can't get no (any) sound. What kind of grammar is that? Have you gone to the preferences in Logic and switched it over to the Mbox? Have you tried turning on your Mbox first, then the computer?
Someone else will chime in I'm sure.

Lol, usually no one is correcting me when i spell something wrong but anyways.
thanks for the response and yes i have taken those steps and when i choose the mbox in preferences it is still not giving me any sound.
could it be something outside of logic?

I'm just teasing you. I really don't what's up with that. You may have to save and reinstall to get the driver working again (not sure you had it working before). When you installed your PT for your Mbox, it will load the Core Audio Driver too if you checked the box. It sounds like you may have downloaded a new one or old one and something is not getting along.
