Default Midi map Transport controlls

Greetings ...Can somebody tell me if it's possible to map the transport controls to a midi footswitch or other midi devices? a searched a lot and couldn't find an answer
I have a looptimus footswitch pedal. Works great in logic, Live etc I wonder if I can map it in protools
