I think I may be one of the first S6 customers to benefit from the new configurability for M10 systems. I was able to buy a 4 foot 24 fader frame with 16 faders. Room for expansion! Yay! Great move because I couldn't afford a 24 channel M10 but didn't want to be forever locked into a 16 channels.

And on the flip side of that, I wish I had bought a 5 bucketer. Anyway to make my 4 bucket bolster work with a 5 bucket system or a trade in?

Hi Brandon

Unfortunately there are no trade ins for used bolsters since old ones aren't cost effectively refurbished. You can either add two blank chassis and then add the smallest available bolster (2ft) or simply replace your 4ft bolster with a 5ft bolster. Maybe someone upgrading a 16 fader 3ft bolster would be interested in your 4ft bolster.

Don't forget you will need an additional rear cover in addition to the extra chassis, power supply and the wider bolster.
