So thats for XP only? What about Vista? Will 8.0.3 or 8.0.4 be enough? And for Windows 7, what is approved? 8.0.4 or 8.0.5? What versions of 9 will be required on W7 for the ERXP? And lastly what about Mac? what versions?

I think I was about the only person who had great success with Vista and preferred it way over XP. But the day 7 was release, I bought it and never looked back. At that time PT8 was not approved for W7, be we found a way to get it to work on Windows 7 32 bit.

We did have to wait for the 8.0.4b driver to get PT8.0.3 running in W7 64 bit.

But since then I've totally erased my Vista and W7 32 bit partitions and am all W7 64 bit since then.

BTW....Beroni.....just wanted to say a BIG thank YOU for those Diezel presets that you took the time to create and upload to elevenrackpresets. I have a Diezel Herbert and I have to say that with just a tiny bit of tweaking I did to your preset, it is spot on. The VH-4 preset as well.

Well done! Thanks to you....I've just sold my Herbert and cab as well as I've decided that I can do what I need to do what I can do with 11R and a FRFS powered monitor.

Great stuff! Can't wait for the Bogner update and I am set for a long time. This orange box has been the best piece of gear I have had in a long, long time.

Cool I did what I could with the tools we currently have in the 11R. I had some good raw samples to refer to and analyse with the freq. analyzer.

I turn down the gain and lower the highs on the 2 EQ's for the Diezel Herbert preset myself. And of course it will sound slightly different depending on what you're monitoring through, and even the room you are playing in.

It would be a good idea for anyone planning to purchase the ERXP to upgrade to the latest 9.0.2/9.0.2HD, 8.1.1HD or 8.0.5LE, which are all available as free downloads at avid.com.

We will publish more specifics on the qualified systems closer to the date.

I am a bit surprised Avid released 8.0.5, i thought they said 8.0.4 was (1. The Last version (of LE) to support XP and Vista. and (2. Was the last version of LE to be produced, not counting 'cs' packs.

Q: So what will happen to Pro Tools LE software?
A: We will continue to support Pro Tools LE software with customer service (CS) updates, but will no longer be developing any new releases beyond that.
