Dumb Hardware Verb Hookup Question
Hey. I've got a PCM 80 in here which has a spdif i/o. I've patched it to the 888/24 spdif coax connectors, and it works great -- but only if you insert it on ch. 1&2 and select spdif in the hardware dialogue. Well, that's fine, but every time I want to open new tracks, PT won't let me because I'm using ch. 1&2 for inserts. I've got to be missing something obvious, right?
So for the time being using this rev. patched analog. What do u do? COCO [This message has been edited by COCO (edited February 07, 2001).] |

Re: Dumb Hardware Verb Hookup Question
If I want to use the SPDIF then I just can't use I/O 1 and 2. If you can dedicate those ins and outs to the Lex you will be fine. Just use a different input to record whatever. Hope this helps.
