Default Can We do this?

Hi all,

Is it possible to send a digidelivery to someone else that is on the same LAN (local network) and have them download it without going through the internet?

Yes. This should work automatically, but it's worth checking: From a workstation on your LAN, take a file over 100 MB, uncheck "Optimize for Internet Delivery" and send it to yourself. See how long it takes to upload, then see how long it takes to download. These times should be roughly the same. If the download time is 5 or 10x the upload time, your deliveries are getting downloaded via the Internet. See Testing Performance on page 20(?) of the Admin Guide for instructions on how to avoid this.

Thanks, Gordon
