Default 192 automatically doesn't shut off with computer

On my previous HD3 Accel system, if I shut down the computer, the 192 Digital (Blue) interface would automatically sleep (button turn yellow).

Since I have upgraded to Pro Tools HDX, the same 192 Digital (Blue) interface does not automatically turn yellow. I have to turn it off.

I do have it connected differently. I have a 192 Digital and a Lynx Aurora 16. Previously, I had each interface connected to a different HD Accel Card. With this new set-up, I have one of the outputs of the HDX card going into the input of the 192 Digital and then the expansion going into the primary input on the Lynx Aurora 16.

I'm curious if anybody else has noticed that HDX doesn't shut down their interfaces when the computer shuts down.

I don't think they were doing what you think in terms of "sleeping" or shutting down.

I think it was just a color change in the ring to show it's "connected".

And mine used to with TDM cards but do not now with HD Native, so I'd say it's "normal".

Windows with HD Native and the HD io’s don’t change colors either

All the lights would go off on the interface except for the round ring around the power button which would turn yellow. The fan would turn off in the unit too. So it seems like it was doing more than just showing it was connected. I could be wrong though.

Well, if they removed this feature, that stinks. Maybe it stopped working if you don't have the new interfaces with the new cards.
